Mickey Factz

Rapper When Bronx-born Mickey Williams was just a baby, his father used to rap to him to keep him from crying. Young Mickey even attended the same high school as rap pioneer Afrika Bambaataa. Now that MC Mickey Factz is all grown up, it seems the hip hop osmosis paid off. He released one song on his MySpace page per week from his 2008 mixtape, The Leak, Vol. 1: The Understanding, a stroke of marketing brilliance that helped boost his striking “I’m Sean (50 Shots More).” A member of Lupe Fiasco’s All City Chess Club, Factz’s debut album will be called The Achievement—and that’s a fact.
