Mystikal

Mystikal, born Michael Tyler, helped to put New Orleans on the hip hop map under the guidance of Master P. A former Gulf War veteran, Mystikal set himself apart from other NOLA rappers with a delivery that was always high-energy. Although already several albums in at that point, it was the rapper's Let's Get Ready album which topped the charts and spawned the hits "Danger (Been So Long)" and "Shake Ya A--." In 2001, he received a BET Awards Best Male Hip Hop nomination.
