N.E.R.D.

Alternative Hip Hop Group N.E.R.D (an acronym for Nobody Ever Really Dies) is an alternative hip hop/rock band founded by The Neptunes production duo, Pharrell Williams and Chad Hugo. When they weren’t making hits for a multitude of hip hop, R&B and rock stars, Williams and Hugo started the band with Shay Haley as a side project. The group’s 2001 debut album, In Search Of…, and their sophomore disc, Fly or Die, were both certified gold. In 2005, the group ended their contract with Virgin Records, and reappeared under Williams and Hugo’s Star Trak Entertainment, releasing the albums Seeing Sounds and Nothing.
