Patrice O'Neal

Patrice O’Neal was a comedian who appeared on Chappelle’s Show, the Opie & Anthony radio show and the Comedy Central Roast of Charlie Sheen. Originally from Boston, his stand-up routines were characterized by his off-the-cuff style and adult themes. O’Neal cultivated his routine in comedy clubs throughout Boston, Los Angeles, New York and the U.K. His efforts paid off with stand-up specials on HBO, Comedy Central and Showtime. With a history of diabetes and weight control issues, O’Neal died in November 2011 a month after suffering a stroke. He was 42 years old.
