Born Patricia Louise Holte, Patti LaBelle has been electrifying audiences worldwide with her powerhouse vocals for nearly 50 years. The former lead singer of Labelle (best known for the soul classic “Lady Marmalade”) enjoyed superstar solo success in the 80s with hit songs like “On My Own," “New Attitude,” “Stir It Up” and “If You Asked Me To.” In 2008, she reteamed with former LaBelle members Nona Hendryx and Sarah Dash for the album Back to Now. Patti has also worked as an actress over the years appearing in both A Soldier's Story and TV sitcom A Different World.
