Actor

Prior to becoming a leading lady in film and on TV, Los Angeles native Paula Patton worked as a documentary producer for the Discovery Health Channel series Medical Diaries. It was in 2005 that the University of Southern California alum soon got her big screen break in front of the camera in Hitch. Patton’s impressive film credits include Idlewild, Déjà Vu and Precious. She stars in 2011’s Jumping the Broom and will appear opposite Tom Cruise in Mission Impossible—Ghost Protocol. Patton is married to soul crooner Robin Thicke, and the pair’s son, Julian was born in April 2010.
