Born in Honduras and raised in New Orleans, Louisiana, Raquel Roxanne Diaz was a high school cheerleader before pursuing a career in radio. After working as a DJ in Texas and Boston, the lovely Latina was hired by Chicago’s Power 92 FM where she was known as the “Midday Mami.” Beating out 5000 other competitors in BET’s “New Faces” search, Rocsi was crowned the new co-host of BET’s flagship show 106 & Park in 2006. Along with Terrence J she brought a new energy to cable's #1 music variety show for more than seven years before she—along with Terrence—retired in September 2012. Keeping up her hosting spirit, the young personality is the newest correspondent on Entertainment Tonight alongside Nancy O’Dell.
