Roscoe Dash

Rapper A varsity basketball player at Atlanta’s Mill Creek high school, Jeffrey Johnson Jr. always dabbled in music, releasing mixtapes with his group Blackout Boys. But he never considered a career in rap until he became a father at age 16. After a brief affiliation with the Georgia rap trio Travis Porter, Dash decided to strike out on his own. His single “All The Way Turnt Up” featuring Soulja Boy, made a huge splash at radio, and he’s followed that up with club hits like “Show Out!” and “My Own Step” featuring T-Pain and Fabo. Nominated for Rookie of the Year at the 2010 BET Hip Hop Awards, Roscoe Dash’s debut album Ready Set Go! is one of the most anticipated releases of 2011.
