Sean Kingston’s happy-go-lucky, positive polished pop sound betrays the harder upbringing the Florida native endured growing up. Reared in Kingston, Jamaica he faced a life filled with theft, incarceration and homeless all before his teen years. While on the Miami talent show circuit his gift for writing rhymes and hooks gave him the opportunity to share the stage with the likes of Pitbull, Ludacris and Trick Daddy. Kingston was officially discovered on MySpace and signed to the Sony record label in 2007. He released his single popular hit single “Beautiful Girls” at the age of 16.
