Sean Price

Recording Artist

Sean Price kicked off his career as a member of Heltah Skeltah, a group associated with the Brownsville, Brooklyn, NY rap collective Boot Camp Click (BCC). Comprised of members Jahmal “Rock” Bush and Price (aka Ruck), Heltah Skeltah made their debut on fellow BCC members Smiff-N-Wessun’s 1995 album Da Shinin. The duo then teamed with O.G.C. to form The Fab 5, which released the hit single “Leflaur Leflah Eshkoshka,” a song that would appear on their 1996 debut album Nocturnal.  Almost a decade later, Price began releasing solo albums, including the well-received Monkey Barz (2005) and Jesus Price Superstar (2007).
