Rapper/Entrepreneur This Houston-based rap giant learned the hip hop game firsthand, signing with the H-Town institution Swisha House as a teenager. After establishing his own Boss Hogg Outlaws imprint, Slim (Stayve Thomas) began putting out his own mixtapes and eventually signed with Interscope Records. His 2005 debut Already Platinum hit #2 on Billboard’s Top 200, bringing the deep-voiced rapper to a national audience. He has collaborated with Paul Wall and Mike Jones on the classic “Still Tippin’,” with Gwen Stefani on the single “Luxurious,” and with Beyoncé on the chart-topping single “Check On It.”
