Comedian Making audiences laugh since the early '90s, Sommore has worked her way up to comedic royalty. One of the original Queens of Comedy, she got her first big break hosting the classic standup series Comic View and eventually moved on to hosting gigs like Def Comedy Jam and the historical talent showcase Showtime at the Apollo before making her film debut in Friday After Next. She's since made appearances in films and TV shows such as Soul PlaneThe ParkersThe Hughleys and the sixth season of Celebrity Fit Club. Still performing at sold out shows across the country, the Jersey-raised comedy queen will reclaim her throne as host of BET's Comic View for the 2014 season.
