SWV

R&B GroupSWV, comprised of members Coko (Cheryl Gamble), Taj (Tamara Johnson) and Lelee (Leanne Lyons) was a part of the New Jack Swing sound created and crafted by Teddy Riley. Riley produced their double platinum 1992 debut album It’s About Time, which featured the singles, “Right Here,” “I’m So Into You” and “Weak.” Their name was an acronym for Sisters With Voices and the group was also featured on the Above the Rim soundtrack. Other SWV albums include The Remixes, New Beginning and Release Some Tension.
