The Ranger$

The Ranger$ are a rap group and dance crew that helped popularize "jerkin’," the dance craze from L.A. characterized by nimble footwork, body twirls and swift, jerky movements. After The Ranger$ — originally part of The Go Go Power Ranger$ — went viral with their homemade jerkin’ YouTube and Myspace videos, they released their debut rap album, Jerkin’ is a Habit, Vol. 1, in 2009. Comprised of members Julian, Langston, Day Day and Spotlight (Corey left the group in 2011), The Ranger$ have since signed to Nick Cannon’s Ncredible imprint.
