Tiger Woods

Athlete Since becoming a professional golfer in 1996, Tiger Woods has enjoyed a highly successful career. By 1997, he won his first Masters and reached No. 1 in world rankings of professional golfers that same year. He has since been awarded PGA Player of the Year a record ten times. With an estimated $90.5 million in winnings and endorsements, Tiger Woods is also thought to be the highest-paid professional athlete. However, after publicly admitting infidelity, Woods took time off the green from December 2009 to April 2010, which caused his rankings to suffer. But he’s recently redeemed himself in stats and good publicity by reclaiming his number one position after winning three of five PGA Tour tournaments, and snatching headlines as the new boo of fellow athlete, pro skier Lindsey Vonn.
