Too Short

Todd “Too Short” Shaw is an Oakland, California, rapper who began his successful career by selling his music from the trunk of his car. His first official release in 1985 marked the simple rhyme pattern and magnified vocals that would serve as his signature style. He announced a retirement in 1996 after the release of Getting It, and has released eight albums since.
