Made up of members Fantohou Kossi "Master Justz" Juste and Mensah "Barabas" Blaise, Toofan made their debut in 2005 with Epervier Ogbragada. They are known as one of the pillars of Africa's ogbragada style of music, which is popular in the French-speaking regions of the continent and fuses elements of reggae, hip hop, R&B, funk and indigenous tunes. In 2006, their debut LP became the album of Togo's national football team as they made their way to the 2006 World Cup; and in 2012, their football anthem, "African Hoyee," blew up during the Africa Cup of Nations.
