Chingy

St. Louis rapper Chingy rose to stardom shortly after the rise of fellow Midwest-rep Nelly, who added the young rapper to one of his tours in 2002.  Chingy's debut album Jackpot sold two million copies, supported by his breakthrough single "Right Thurr" and other popular songs like "One Call Away" and "Holidae In."  While on tour, Chingy was introduced to Ludacris who signed the Midwest MC to his Disturbing tha Peace record label.  Chingy would release another platinum selling album, Powerballin' in 2004.  As of 2011, Chingy was working on his upcoming album No Risk, No Reward, scheduled to be released on his Slot-A-Lot Records.
