Fantasia

Born in North Carolina and raised in a musical family, Fantasia Barrino first came to national attention as the winner of American Idol in 2004. Her rendition of “Summertime” has been called the best performance in the show’s history. Fantasia’s first single “I Believe” debuted at the top of the charts, and the brand new R&B star never looked back. She has also appeared in the Broadway production of The Color Purple and now has her own reality show, Fantasia for Real.
