Kid Cudi

Scott Ramon Seguro Mescudi, a half-Mexican, half-African-American hip hop artist from Cleveland, Ohio, dropped a mixtape in 2008 called A Kid Named Cudi, which caught the ear of Kanye West. Mr. West featured him on “Welcome to Heartbreak” from the hit album 808s & Heartbreak. Drawing inspiration from avant-garde groups like A Tribe Called Quest and The Pharcyde, Cudi’s debut LP Man on the Moon: The End of the Day garnered critical success and helped him break into acting. In 2010, Cudi became a co-star in the non-canceled HBO series How to Make It In America. but never shied away from his music. In 2013, the GOOD music MC released his latest LP Indicud in late April.
