Lionel Richie

Lionel Richie first made women swoon in 1968, as the lead singer of the legendary Motown group the Commodores. Prompted by the successful duet "Endless Love" with Diana Ross in 1981, Richie launched his solo career. Throughout the 1980s, Richie was a fixture on Billboard’s Charts. He won five Grammy Awards and he received an Oscar for “Say You, Say Me,” which appeared in the film White Nights. Richie also became the legal adoptive father of Nicole Richie when she was nine-years-old.
