Jamaica-born reggae and dancehall artist Sean Paul was discovered at an open mic night event in Kingston. He got his big break in a cameo in the 1998 film Belly, which starred DMX. More importantly, he was featured on a song called "Top Shotter" alongside DMX and Mr. Vegas on the film's soundtrack. Paul's debut album Stage One was released in 2000, but his sophomore album would be the one that catapulted him to stardom. Dutty Rock (2002) sold more than six million copies and scored several No. 1 hits, including "Gimme the Light" and "Get Busy." Paul was also notably featured on Beyoncé's Billboard No. 1 hit single "Baby Boy." His fourth and most recent album, Tomahawk Technique, was released in January 2012.
