Meet 19-year-old Julissa Emile, a student at Wheelock College in Boston
Last weekend, Emile and her school's slam poetry team went to College Unions Poetry Slam Invitational in Chicago, Illinois.
During a break, Emile stumbled upon a gender neutral bathroom and decided to make some queer magic happen.
Emile tweeted, 'A gender neutral bathroom but every time I take a picture, more queer people get in the photo'
The next day, Emile took another photo of the peace and harmony that goes down in gender neutral bathrooms
Emile even took her gender neutral documentation to Tufts University
It did not take long for Emile's inclusive and compassionate photos to go viral
For Emile, the access to public bathrooms of choice are a necessary right for this country.
"Personally, I think gender-neutral bathrooms are a necessity," she told Buzzfeed. "Everyone deserves the right to exist in a public space."
