Soul Train Awards 2022: Funkify Your Next Kickback With These Sultry Records From Anderson .Paak
The multi-talented Silk Sonic are up for three nominations at the Soul Train Awards 2022, including "Album of The Year" for their critically acclaimed project An Evening with Silk Sonic, "Best Dance Performance," and "Video of the Year" for their smash banger, “Jumping Out the Window.”
This year’s ceremony will be hosted by comedian and Blackish actor Deon Cole and will be a night filled with big wins, surprise performances, and guest appearances you won’t want to miss. ‘Make It Better’
“Make It Better” is the second single released by Anderson .Paak for the album fourth studio album, Ventura, featuring legendary singer-songwriter and producer Smokey Robinson. The overall project was met with critical acclaim and went on to win Best R&B Album at the 2020 Grammy Awards. The song finds Anderson trying to patch up a torn relationship to the backdrop of an uptempo beat filtered with an orchestra.
‘Twin Flame’ with KAYTRANADA
Longtime Collaborators Anderson and KAYTRANADA reunited for a new single, “Twin Flame,” marking their first collaboration in six years. The song is a follow-up to their record “GLOWED UP,” from KAYTRANADA’s 99.9% album.
NxWorries (Anderson .Paak & Knxwledge) - ‘Where I Go feat. H.E.R.’
In 2015 Anderson formed the duo NxWorries with record producer Knxwledge. The pair returned this month with another mellow, groovy record titled “Where I Go,” with the angelic vocal stylings from Grammy Award-winning singer and songwriter H.E.R.
