The 2010 BET Awards are heating up. Based on the performance lineup announced so far, the show is gearing up to be one of the best awards shows this year.  

The latest additions are two artists that hip-hop fans have been waiting to hear from. Kanye West and T.I. are a part of the growing performance list, which already includes Diddy's Dirty Money crew, Drake, Nicki Minaj, and Trey Songz.

This will be Kanye's first award show appearance since interrupting Taylor Swift's acceptance speech at the 2009 MTV Video Music Awards.

T.I.'s last award show appearance on BET was halted by an arrest for purchasing unregistered firearms just hours before the 2008 BET Hip Hop Awards in Atlanta.

Columbia Records' John Legend is slated to receive the Humanitarian Award at the show.
