Nas & Kelis’ child support case just took an ugly turn. Earlier this morning, Kelis’ lawyer appeared before a judge to file a contempt motion due to Nas’ failure to pay over $200,000.00 in child and spousal support in addition to attorney fees.

The case has been unresolved for the past 6 months. If convicted at a contempt hearing next month, Nas could face some jail time.

Nas has yet to release any kind of statement in regards to the problematic divorce case, but did shed a bit of light on the issue on a new track entitled, “Strong Will Continue” with Damien Marley earlier this month. Nas rapped, “How in the h*ll am I supposed to stay comfy/ When I pay child support, alimony monthly.”
