A jury is set to hear opening statements at noon in the murder trial of Michael Dunn, who is accused of killing Jordan Davis, an unarmed African-American teen in November 2012. A live stream of the trial will begin airing here at 12 p.m.

A jury of 12 individuals and four alternates were seated Wednesday. Of the jurors and alternatives chosen, there are five white women, three Black women, an Asian woman and an Indian or Middle Eastern woman. There are also five white men and a Hispanic man, according to a tweet from the family's attorney John M. Phillips.
A more detailed profile of the jurors occupation and martial status was released by First Coast News.
John Guy, assistant state attorney of Florida, will present opening statements on behalf of the state. Defense attorney Cory Strolla will be presenting on behalf of Dunn. The jury is also set to begin hearing from witnesses Thursday.

Dunn is charged with first-degree murder in slaying Jordan at a gas station. He is claiming self-defense and said he saw a weapon in the teen's car, even though police did not find a gun in the vehicle.
