Celebrated music producer Dallas Austin is taking his talent to other galaxies.

Yesterday, the man behind hits from Monica, Madonna, TLC, Michael Jackson and Gwen Stefani, has announced plans that he will be traveling to space in 2013.

Austin, who has a child with TLC member Chilli, tweeted: "Yes!! Just got my confirmation to travel to space in 2013 thanx (sic) to Richard Branson !! I'm gonna see Earth!!"

Branson has a space tourism business called Virgin Galactic.

This is reportedly a lifelong dream for Austin.
