Jay-Z Tops Forbes' Hip-Hop Cash Kings List

Jay-Z's back at the top of Forbes' annual Hip-Hop Cash Kings list.

The God MC reportedly earned $63 million in the past year. Hov's earnings came from his investments in his 40/40 chain, his "Fela" Broadway play and his "Blueprint 3" album and tour.

Diddy comes in second place with $30 million. The mogul made money with his role in "Get Him to the Greek," Ciroc Vodka and his Sean John clothing line, among other ventures.

Akon may have been quiet on the performing front, but he's been benefiting from Lady Gaga's huge success. She's signed to his Kon Live imprint via Interscope. Kon grossed $21 million last year.

Lil Wayne made $20 million via guest appearances and a grueling concert schedule. He makes $500,000 per show. Dr. Dre made money from his popular Beats By Dre headphones line and the release of Eminem's "Recovery" album. Em is signed to Dre's Aftermath label. The good doctor took home $17 million in total.
