Rihanna's about to bring the blue to the big screen! The bad gyal herself has been tapped to voice the legendary Smurfette in the highly-anticipated Smurfs animated film, produced by Paramount and Nickelodeon. But wait, it gets even better - RiRi's also writing and performing original tunes for the flick, and she's even serving as a producer!

Rihanna dropped the news during Thursday's CinemaCon event and said,  “I get to show up in my PJs in my third trimester. I hope this gives me cool points with my kids one day.”

The movie, which is being helmed by Chris Miller, the Oscar-nominated director of 2011’s Puss in Boots, is going to answer the decades-old question, "What exactly is a smurf?" Inquiring minds would like to know!

Smurfs will be released in February 2025.
