Buffalo Bills cornerback Shareece Wright is definitely committed to his craft.

How else can you explain the 30-year-old dropping over $900 on an Uber ride, as reported by ESPN, just to make it to a voluntary team practice on Monday? 

Really?

Yes, Wright, who is entering his seventh season in the NFL, landed in Chicago's O'Hare Airport on Sunday and requested an Uber all the way to the Bills' practice facility in Orchard Park, New York. It's currently unclear whether his flight from Chicago was canceled.

Roughly 550 miles and over eight hours later and Wright had reached his destination.

The damage? A cost of $632.08 to which Wright added a generous $300 tip for the driver, whom the cornerback also gave a five-star rating on the app. 

The story is so surprising that Wright's rep, Tamerat Berhe, had to see the receipt to believe it — something that the Bills' corner happily obliged him with.

Now, that's what you call a road trip.

The veteran player, who previously balled for the San Diego Chargers (now Los Angeles Chargers) and Baltimore Ravens, signed a one-year, $775,000 deal with the Bills last offseason.
