Salt-N-Pepa Perform on Oprah

The legendary group hit the stage as "Goddesses of Rock" honorees.

Salt-N-Pepa shook up the crowd like it was 1988 on Oprah yesterday, stopping by the talk show as honorees in The Queen of All Media's "Rock Goddesses of the '70s and '80s" special. Oprah famously hasn't always had the friendliest attitude toward hip hop, but the iconic all-female rap trio (Spinderella on the ones and twos) were a welcome exception.
The influential talk show host could be seen getting her groove on with the rest of the crowd as a more mature (and glamorous) S-n-P performed their biggest hits, "What a Man" and "Shoop."
Other honorees included rock stars Stevie Nicks, Joan Jett and Pat Benatar. Watch Salt-N-Pepa discuss meeting while working at Sears in the '80s, above, and catch their performance below.
