Cee Lo Responds After An Offensive Tweet

The artist addresses homophobic accusations via Twitter.

Artist and "The Voice" coach Cee-Lo Green came under fire recently after many deemed one of his tweets as anti-gay. The offending tweet, sent to a music critic, said, "@gimme_noise I respect your critcism but be fair! People enjoyed last night! I'm guessing ur gay? and my masculinity offended u? well f--k U!"

That clearly didn't sit well with certain people and Green then went back on to Twitter to defend himself against remarks that he's discriminating against gays. "Apologies gay community! What was homophobic about that? I said I was guessing he [was] gay which is fine but its nice to [know] what u think of me. Nakia and Vicki 'Team Cee Lo' are proudly gay and are [my] greatest assets! I'm no bigot or homophobic. [It's] all a very big misunderstanding."

Do you think he was wrong or right in tweeting his first remark?
