Drake Says "The Motto" Video Drops This Week

Drake Says "The Motto" video, which he shot in Northern California, hits the Web this week.

Drake recently performed in San Francisco for a holiday concert and shared a surprise with the local audience.
“I love the Bay. I shot ‘The Motto’ video out here, and I saw the cut today, which looks absolutely incredible,” Drake told the San Francisco radio hosts for Wild 94.9. “It’s going to coloring on Tuesday and then it’ll be done. We actually shot it on real film because a lot of people don’t do that anymore. We’ll probably drop it at the end of the week. I’m excited about that.”
In addition to rolling out clips from his sophomore LP Take Care, the Canadian also talked about returning to his first introduction into the entertainment industry, acting.
“I love comedy and comedic timing," he said. "But I just want to do a good comedy film, whether it’s a Judd Apatow dry humor film. I’m definitely shaking the right hands and meeting the right people.”
Northern California holds a special place in Drake's heart and not just because it's so close to Hollywood.
"Initially it was the love I got here before any of this had really taken off, but I'm always intrigued by areas that are committed to their own culture and brand of music," he said. "The Bay is one of the strongest examples of that."
