Tracy Morgan to Star in New Series Death Pact

30 Rock actor to play transformed high school coach in the comedy.

30 Rock may be leaving primetime, but Tracy Morgan will continue to stay in our living rooms.
The actor and comedian has signed on to a new series with FX called Death Pact, the network says. Morgan will play a "formerly lazy, pot-dealing assistant high school coach, who returns to his hometown as a decorated war hero. He runs across three down-on-their-luck friends and former students and sucks them into his new radical self-help philosophy, which involves harsh consequences for failure."
A pilot for the single-camera comedy will be shot in New York this summer and produced by the showrunners from Two and a Half Men.
Hopefully we'll be seeing more of Tracy on TV this fall!
