On Friday (Sept. 27), Jennifer Lopez and Alex Rodriguez toasted their upcoming nuptials with a “beautifully elegant” engagement party.
Sharing photos over the weekend via Instagram, the couple, who have been dating in 2018, were all smiles as they relished in an intimate dinner hosted by singer/songwriter Carole Bayer Sager.
For those who may not be aware, the dazzling event comes six months after the retired baseball player popped the question with a massive emerald-cut diamond ring in March.
As you can see, the diamond sparkler was perfectly highlighted when the 50-year-old actress/singer was photographed planting a kiss on her soon-to-be husband.
Surrounded by family and friends, the candle-lit event looked to have gone without a hitch as J.Lo styled in a ruffled satin white dress and A-Rod appeared dapper in a tailored suit.
“So great celebrating with family and close friends last night,” A-Rod captioned an Instagram photo grinning from ear-to-ear with his fiancée.
Excited about their parent's upcoming union, Jennifer’s 11-year-old twins, Maximilian “Max” David and Emme, and Alex’s daughters, Ella, 11, and Natasha Alexander, 14, were all smiles as they posed for an adorable family photo.
How cute! What was even more endearing was the photo the “On The Floor” singer posted showing her daughter Emme and A-Rod's daughter Ella embracing them.
Others on the guest list included Jennifer’s bestie, Leah Remini, and Ryan Seacrest.
Fun fact: As a way to show their genuine appreciation for throwing their engagement party, J.Lo and A-Rod sent over fabulous white roses to their gracious host, Carole.
“No one says thank you like @jlo JLo and @arod,” Carole captioned an Instagram photo showing the flowers. “Bob and I loved throwing your engagement party.”
How classy! As of now, there’s no known exact date as to when the couple will tie the knot.
