Fat Joe Calls Out Healthcare Executives For “Robbing” Patients
Grammy-nominated rapper Fat Joe has a few words for healthcare executives and believes that America’s healthcare system and the politicians attached to it are stealing from patients pocketbooks.
According to TMZ, the Bronx artist shared a message back in March calling out the hidden hospital fees and how it appears that the practice isn’t being reviewed. Teaming up with Power to the Patients, Joe’s mission demanded change in how the healthcare system does business.
“When we can't see or compare prices, hospitals charge us whatever they want,” he said in his message. “They robbing us!!!”
Adding, “Right now millions across the country are being dragged into debt because they're blindsided by the cost of medical bills.”
TMZ notes that Fat Joe plans to attend the White House Correspondent’s dinner at the end of April to push his agenda, enact change and end the injustice.
