Wale Bets Against Tim Tebow

Wale promises to cut his hair if the New York Jets QB starts six games.

Wale made his third appearance on ESPN's First Take this morning (April 23). As typical of his spirited appearances on the sports show, the D.C. rapper got into an argument with cast member Skip Bayless, only this time he put his locks where his mouth is, betting that he'd cut off his hair if quarterback Tim Tebow starts more than six games for the New York Jets this season.

In making the bold wager, the MMG MC is banking on the Jets much maligned starting QB Mark Sanchez to have a productive, injury-free season.

Wale also shared his opinion on Metta World Peace (Ron Artest) elbowing James Harden during Sunday's double overtime game between the Los Angeles Lakers and Oklahoma City Thunder and weighed in on the race for the NBA's MVP, which he says should go to Lebron James.
"Lebron is having the most efficient season in NBA history," he argued.
Wale is one of a number of rappers, including Joe Budden, Nelly, Lil Wayne, Common, Bow Wow and LL Cool J, to have appeared on the show.
