Oprah's O Magazine Suffers Loss of Revenue

Is Oprah Winfrey's media empire crumbling? Weeks after the mogul had to fire her friend Rosie O'Donnell and lay off a fifth of her staff at OWN, reports say her O magazine is suffering a drop in ad sales.
A new report from Publishers Information Bureau shows that O was down 24.1 percent in ad pages from 2011. Though there are still a few months for the mag to catch up with last year's totals, it looks unlikely that it will.
Even the ever-optimistic talk show guru has admitted that things have gone downhill since she retired her daytime gig. She recently confessed to her BFF Gayle King and Charlie Rose on CBS This Morning that, "Had I known it was this difficult, I might have done something else." She also added, "If I were writing a book, I might call it 101 Mistakes."
Despite her very rocky start, few have been better at turning lemons to lemonade than Winfrey, so we wouldn't rule out a comeback.
