You don't want to get on Kanye West's bad side.
Celebrity bodyguard Steve Stanulis learned that the hard way when he was fired on the spot just before the Met Gala earlier this month simply for talking to 'Ye's wife Kim Kardashian. But the battle between West and Stanulis is far from over: the rapper is threatening to sue Stanulis for $10 million unless he apologizes for spilling the tea about the incident to the media.
Team Yeezy had some harsh words for Stanulis, as well, after the bodyguard told UK's Daily Mail all about the couple's diva antics. A spokesperson for Kanye told the New York Daily News, "The West Family will no longer tolerate the spreading and selling of fake stories in a desperate, transparent and shameless attempt for publicity at their expense."
The statement continued, "This sad, parasitic maniac has violated every basic human tenant of decency with his story of lies. As such, the Wests will explore all legal means at their disposal to silence this nonsense."
TMZ.com reports that Kanye and Kim's lawyer has sent a legal letter to Stanulis accusing him of breaking a confidentiality agreement he was under as their former employee. If he doesn't publicly apologize for his actions, they'll slap him with a $10 million suit.
What's more, when asked about Stanulis's claim that he was never paid for the three days he did work for Kimye earlier this month, a rep for Yeezy reportedly said, "Tell him to get paid by Inside Edition." Damn!
As for Kimye, clearly they have people in place to handle these kinds of messes and can focus on more important things, like their second wedding anniversary. See how they celebrated with BET Breaks, above.
