Devastating News for the Jackson Family

More hardship on the horizon for the famous clan.

Published July 4, 2016

Things have never been easy for the Jackson family, and just weeks after the media dredged up more so-called "proof" of child pornography charges against Michael Jackson, the pop icon's family is preparing to deal with some more devastating news.

According to TMZ, Jackson's ex-wife Debbie Rowe has been diagnosed with breast cancer. Even worse, her daughter Paris Jackson, with whom she's had a very rocky relationship, doesn't know anything about it thanks to the fact that they are completely cut off from each other.

Sources say this is Lowe's second bout with cancer. She had a scare in 2014, but was given a clean bill of health by doctors. This time, though, she's been diagnosed and even has to have surgery in the next week, all without the support of her eldest daughter.

Debbie, 57, and Paris, 18, reportedly stopped speaking more than a year ago and this past May the music scion stopped following her mother on social media. Rowe responded on Facebook saying it was "one of the saddest things in this world is to see a child grow up hating one of their parents because they only got one side of the story."

The two had become extremely close following MJ's death, but the tide shifted dramatically after Paris found herself in the pit of depression. Reportedly, her relationship with Debbie caused friction in the Jackson side of the family and lead to her cutting off her mother completely.

Sadly, it seems like hardship and drama has shrouded the Jackson family and the clouds won't be parting anytime soon. Hopefully Paris and her siblings are able to make peace with their biological mother now that she's facing her own mortality.
