After Keshia Knight Pulliam accused her estranged husband Ed Hartwell of plotting to "harm and obstruct" her pregnancy, he has now come forward denying her claims.
According to People, the athlete filed a response today to the Superior Court of Fulton County, Georgia, saying he "emphatically denies" that he "engaged in certain underhanded and unusual conduct" that his wife "believes to be designed... to miscarry her unborn child."
He continued, adding that she "should be ashamed of herself for ever making such false and offensive allegations."
In response to Pulliam's plea for a restraining order against him, he "denies there is a need" for one at all.
He also explained in the court docs that he is waiting to take a paternity test after the child is born and even accused Pulliam of being abusive towards him, saying, "If either party has been mentally and emotionally abusive toward the other, it is [Pulliam]."
Hartwell filed for divorce from the former Cosby Show actress on July 26, not even eight months after they walked down the aisle.
