So Sad: Wendy Williams Breaks Down in Tears Over the Passing of 'Wigologist' Antwon Jackson

Wendy Williams chats to Mario Lopez at The Grove for an 'Extra' interview in Los Angeles, California. The media personality was promoting her new book 'Ask Wendy'. Wendy was in high spirits during the conversation and took time to sign a few copies of her book for host Mario. She looked fantastic in a black mini dress and towering studded Louboutin shoes, although her heels meant she needed assistance from both Mario and her husband Kevin Hunter to leave the stage.

So Sad: Wendy Williams Breaks Down in Tears Over the Passing of 'Wigologist' Antwon Jackson

She spoke on his death on the season premiere of her show.

Published September 19, 2016

Wendy Williams has officially returned to the daytime TV circuit for the season eight premiere of her talk show, and while making her way through the double doors for her grand entrance, something was different: she was wearing a black turban over her wig.

Later in the show, she revealed she did so as a tribute to her now passed wigologist Antwon Jackson, and she broke down while remembering how she learned of his passing.

Breaking down into tears, she explained that she was getting her eyebrows done before heading on vacation when she received the dreaded phone call that he had died.

"I will miss you dearly, Antwon," she said before passing to a video package in his memory.

Take a look at the video, below:

RIP, Antwon.
