Stunt on them haters, Vivica!

The Empire star landed herself a new film role that will make her a part of cinema history — take that, 50 Cent! According to The Hollywood Reporter, Viv has signed on to play a major role in the sci-fi flick Crossbreed.

In the film, Viv will play the president of the United States — making her the first Black woman in cinema to do so.

POTUS Fox sends war veterans on a mission to retrieve an alien whose DNA is being used to make weapons. Director Brandon Slagle says that it was Fox's "commanding presence" and ability to "light up a room" that made her perfect for the role. "Our president is positive and proactive, not the grim figure as is usually portrayed in these types of movies," he said.

That's certainly Viv! Surely she's glad to be focusing on work, as opposed to her ongoing beef with her ex, Fiddy. Relive the origin of their drama in a #TBT clip from Wendy Williams, above.
