Facts? Here's How The Real's Ratings Are Doing Since Tamar's Epic Exit

Published November 2, 2016

Tamar Braxton's exit from The Real may not be quite the disaster Twitter expected. In fact, a new report says that ratings are actually on the rise following the co-host's controversial departure.

Remaining hosts Adrienne BailonTamera Mowry, Loni Love and Jeannie Mai seem to have been doing a great job bringing in buzzworthy guests like Toya WrightMonica and more, and were recently rewarded with a 13 percent ratings bump. That's a far cry from the 22 percent nosedive that was reported last month, and certainly not consistent with Tamar's fans' claims that the show is boring without her.

Of course, the pleasing ratings might have at least a little something to do with the extra attention the show has gotten since Tamar's dramatic exit. Are the public feuds and interviews actually driving more people to tune in?

We wouldn't be the least bit surprised if that's the case. As for Tamar, she's busy working on her own Steve Harvey-produced talk show that's set to launch next year... and maybe she'll take Loni Love up on her offer to return to The Real as a guest once all the dust settles?
