Sad News for Two Cast Members From 'Real Housewives of Atlanta’

One of them makes a huge promise about the future.

Two Real Housewives of Atlanta stars are facing big changes.

Phaedra Parks and Cynthia Bailey are both single women again after divorcing their estranged husbands.

Phaedra revealed during a recent appearance on Raq Rants that her never-ending divorce to Apollo Nida is finalized, while Cynthia said on a cast trip to Maui this month that she's ready to start the divorce process to split from her long-estranged husband, Peter Thomas, — and made a pretty drastic promise as a result.

Phaedra and Apollo have been married since 2009. He is currently serving an eight-year prison sentence for cashing stolen checks and laundering more than $2 million.

When asked if there's a chance that they could reconcile if Apollo "changes" once he's released, Phaedra said, "never say never," but added that it's very unlikely.

She also added that she has not taken their two sons back to the prison to visit their dad.

According to TMZ, however, according to Apollo's camp, the word on their divorce being finalized is news to him. Take a look at the interview, below:

As for Cynthia, an attempt at reconciliation during the Maui trip actually had the opposite effect. “I will always love Peter and have his back,” she admits, but says she realized, “There was a lot of internal unhappiness. I wasn’t at peace.”
Her decision to divorce also comes with a major ultimatum. “I was in love with Peter, but I’m just not wife material," she says. "I will never be in a relationship again where it will take a lawyer for me to walk away. I will never marry again.”
