Blatant Racism Got This Comedian a $6,000 Apology From a Famous Chain

Forget the salad and breadsticks!

Remember the comedian who was told by an Olive Garden server that she "doesn't serve Blacks"? Well he just got a major apology from the food chain — and it was more than verbal.

According to TMZ, Ricky Smith said Olive Garden's VP of Operations seemed extremely apologetic about what happened when they spoke — so much so that he gave the comic a $1,000 gift card and donated an additional $5,000 to his charity, Random Acts of Kindness Everywhere.

Paying it forward, Smith is taking the high road by going back to the original branch where he was allegedly disrespected in Ohio and using the $1,000 gift card to feed the less fortunate.

Proving that he's that great of a guy, he even asked that the server and manager who were suspended after the incident be spared.

See another comedian, Dave Chappelle, rock it on SNL in the video above.
