Matthew McConaughey is the latest celebrity to urge his Hollywood peers to support Donald Trump.
In an interview with the BBC, the actor said it's time for his fellow entertainers to "embrace and shake hands" with the fact that Trump is the new president of the United States.
According to CNN, the Oscar-winning actor spoke with BBC's Andrew Marr and said the public really "doesn't have a choice" now that Trump is in office.
"Well, they don't have a choice now, he's our president," he said. "It's very dynamic and as divisive of an inauguration and time that we've ever had. At the same time, it's time for us to embrace and shake hands with this fact and be constructive with him over the next four years."
Social media was not here for the actor's political "advice," and dragged him to hell on Twitter.
