During a recent episode of the Real Housewives of Atlanta, Sheree Whitfield revealed that her ex-husband, Bob, physically abused her throughout the course of their marriage.
Now that the word is out on his alleged actions, Bob is speaking out about the claims and is reflecting on his behavior.
According to theJasmineBRAND.com, Bob posted a statement admitting his wrongdoings when it comes to Sheree.
"My Dearest Woman, I am wrong," he wrote. "I made trivial the abuse of HER in front of the world. I am no monster. I allowed truth, comedy and conjecture to convey an image of myself that I would never condone. I know how emotionally charged anger can inflict damage to someone you hold dear."
At the end of the lengthy statement, he explained why he laughed after seeing her emotional response to the claims in the episode.
"I laugh because it feels better than crying," he said. "However, I must cry for forgiveness. My humility now is true to the pride that I take of holding HER to the highest esteem as mother or as wife, as confident or as friend. This ode is try..."
This comes days after a woman claiming to be his close friend explained on Instagram that the claims of abuse against Sheree are all false.
