Tamar Braxton's exit from The Real will officially reach its one-year mark this summer. Since her removal from the morning talk show, the singer revealed that, with the help of Steve Harvey, she's set to go solo — on the talk show route — and now she's explaining just how far she's gotten with that venture.
Harvey made the announcement back in June 2016 that he signed the "Love & War" songstress to his production company.
"We're proud to announce that my production company has just signed Tamar Braxton to produce a talk show, TV series with Tamar Braxton," he said. "We've signed her to East 112th Street Productions for a new show. We saw the opportunity of what people may recognize as the end, but it's not. It's such a beginning."
Tamar recently visited Essence, where she spoke on the progress of the talk show, and though not much progress has been made, she says it's definitely coming.
"It's going to be amazing, and we're still working out a lot of the details about what it's going to be about and what's going to happen," she said. "But it's definitely going to happen."
